Warlords of Draenor Timewalking Is Live - Best Rewards, Mounts and What to Do This Week
Dariz · 10/28/2026
Warlords of Draenor is back for one week, which means it is once again time to remember that Grimrail Depot was designed by people who apparently believed a camera should also be a raid mechanic.
The good news is that this week's Timewalking event is one of the better ones for players who care about more than the dungeon queue itself.
There is current-season catch-up gear from the weekly quest, a very easy first chunk of Timewarped Badges, three vendor mounts, a pile of cosmetic weapons and ensembles, and a 50% reputation bonus that makes old Draenor grinds dramatically less annoying.
WoD Timewalking Dates
- Starts — Date: October 27, 2026
- Ends — Date: November 3, 2026
The event is active for the normal weekly-event window. Vendor access and Timewalking queues disappear when the event ends, so do the reputation cleanup and purchases before the next reset.
All Six Warlords of Draenor Timewalking Dungeons
- Auchindoun — Why you may remember it: Draenei temple, Teron'gor and plenty of caster-heavy trash.
- Bloodmaul Slag Mines — Why you may remember it: Ogres, fire and one of WoD's earliest dungeon layouts.
- The Everbloom — Why you may remember it: Botani overgrowth and the famous shortcut-heavy route.
- Grimrail Depot — Why you may remember it: Moving train, tight spaces and one extremely opinionated camera.
- Shadowmoon Burial Grounds — Why you may remember it: Ner'zhul, void-heavy visuals and one of WoD's strongest dungeon themes.
- Skyreach — Why you may remember it: Arakkoa, wind mechanics and High Sage Viryx.
Complete Five Dungeons for a Champion-Level Item
For max-level characters, the weekly quest is A Savage Path Through Time.
You can pick it up from Archmage Aethas Sunreaver in Silvermoon City or through the Adventure Journal. Complete five Timewalking dungeons and the current Midnight version rewards a cache containing a Champion-level item appropriate to your loot specialization.
That makes the event more useful than pure nostalgia if you are still gearing an alt or filling a weak slot.
If you are deciding whether that Champion piece is worth chasing compared with your other weekly options, our Patch 12.1.5 live guide covers Kith'ix, the Labyrinth and the current mid-season gearing systems.
Your First Dungeon Gives an Easy 500 Timewarped Badges
The first Timewalking dungeon you complete drops The Shimmering Crystal.
Turn it in to the appropriate WoD Timewalking vendor and the first turn-in of the week awards 500 Timewarped Badges. Current Icy Veins guidance says subsequent characters receive 200 badges from their turn-in.
That matters because the most expensive vendor rewards cost 5,000 badges. One first-dungeon quest is effectively ten percent of a mount without any dedicated badge grind.
Three WoD Timewalking Mounts Cost 5,000 Badges Each
If you are here for collectibles, the mount list is the obvious target.
- Nightfall Skyreaver - 5,000 Timewarped Badges
- Beastlord's Warwolf - 5,000 Timewarped Badges
- Beastlord's Irontusk - 5,000 Timewarped Badges
You do not need to spend the currency just because this event is active. Timewarped Badges persist between events, so saving toward the mount you actually want is usually better than buying filler rewards because a vendor is standing in front of you.
Where Are the WoD Timewalking Vendors?
- Alliance — Vendor: Tempra — Location: Stormshield - roughly /way 37.2 72.6
- Horde — Vendor: Kronnus — Location: Warspear - roughly /way 42.8 54.6
This Is Also a 50% Draenor Reputation Week
The sleeper reward is Sign of Iron.
During WoD Timewalking, the buff increases reputation gains by 50% for a long list of Draenor factions, including Arakkoa Outcasts, Council of Exarchs/Frostwolf Orcs, Hand of the Prophet/Vol'jin's Headhunters, Laughing Skull/Sha'tari Defense, Order of the Awakened, Saberstalkers and Steamwheedle Preservation Society.
If you abandoned a Draenor reputation at Honored eight years ago, this is the week to finish it.
The vendors also sell commendation tokens for many of those factions for 50 Timewarped Badges each, so the event lets you attack reputation from both sides: more reputation from activities and direct badge-to-rep conversion.
Best Things to Buy With Timewarped Badges
Mounts are the obvious prestige purchase, but the current WoD vendor inventory is much broader than it used to be.
- Three 5,000-badge mounts.
- WoD-themed transmog ensembles.
- Unused or hard-to-find weapon appearances added to the Timewalking vendor pool.
- Toys including Apexis Focusing Shard and Banner of the Burning Blade.
- Faction commendation tokens for reputation catch-up.
- Heirloom upgrade items and inexpensive old gear appearances.
My priority would be mount > unique transmog > reputation tokens you actively need > everything else. Gear from old vendors is temporary; account collectibles are permanent.
What Should You Do First This Week?
- Pick up A Savage Path Through Time before you forget.
- Run one dungeon immediately for The Shimmering Crystal and the first 500 badges.
- If you still need current-season gear, finish all five dungeons for the Champion-level cache.
- Check your Draenor reputations before spending badges; a 50% rep week can save hours.
- Visit Tempra or Kronnus and decide whether you are saving for a 5,000-badge mount.
- Use alts for extra first-dungeon badge turn-ins if you want to accelerate your collection.
Is WoD Timewalking Worth Doing at Max Level?
Yes, but only if one of the reward tracks matters to you.
The weekly cache makes five dungeons defensible for gearing. The first-dungeon crystal is extremely efficient for badges. The rep buff is excellent for old content. The mounts are account-wide collection goals.
If none of that matters, there is no magical reason you must spend the week inside old WoD dungeons. Current Midnight content will still be there, and Timewalking should be a bonus event, not a second job.

Final Thoughts
WoD Timewalking is at its best when you treat it as a bundle of efficient side objectives rather than six dungeons you are obligated to spam.
One run for 500 badges is excellent. Five runs for current Champion loot can be worthwhile. A 50% rep buff can finish old grinds you have ignored for years. And the three mounts give badge collectors something permanent to work toward.
Do the parts that solve a problem on your account and skip the rest. Draenor will survive without you for another month.
